JAPANESE BATHROOM
A unique bathroom with a Japanese style toilet and a soaking tub big enough for two.
This bathroom is on the first floor of an Edwardian home. The brief was to create a bathroom that incorporated a Japanese style toilet and a soaking tub whilst keeping the design sympathetic to the rest of the house.
The room also includes a large shower cubicle that has been created with space from a previously unused landing area.
This project included sourcing for several specialist items. The white tiles on the walls are an exact replica of the original tiles that would have been fitted into the house. The vanity unit is a vintage find and the wallpaper was printed as a bespoke piece by Lucy Tiffney.
The Japanese style toilet that has multiple functions that are operated with a remote control. There’s nothing like a heated loo seat to create a warm and welcoming bathroom! 🍑
