House of Wards Interior Design studio was founded in 2019 by Helen Ward.
An award winning, multi-disciplinary designer based in Bristol, UK, Helen studied interiors with the KLC School of Design in Chelsea. For almost 20 years, she worked as a product designer, specialising in children’s toys and homewear with mass market appeal for manufacture and sale through retailers.  

“I loved coming up with new products. But when I wasn’t designing, I poured my energy into making intricate, papercut artwork that has been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions around the world.” 

Every so often, a particularly special commission would come in asking Helen to make a truly bespoke piece of artwork for a specific customer or space. 

“I love these opportunities - making something that will be treasured forever is a total privilege and my heart lies in creating unique, custom designs.

The shift from product design to interiors was a natural progression and I absolutely love working alongside clients, helping them to create new spaces that both look amazing and really work with the way they live their lives.” 

House of Wards delivers a completely bespoke design experience with a range of services to suit all requirements from simple room refresh ideas to full interior overhauls.
